Dancing Shoes At The Ready, It's Las Palmas Carnival

They don't need much excuse for a party in Gran Canaria and Carnival time is the biggest party of all. Regional celebrations will take place all around the island but the biggest event is in the capital Las Palmas. Here is the full line up.

20 th - Comparsas Contest, Santa Catalina Park
25 th - The Queens Gala, Santa Catalina Park
26 th - Adult Fancy Dress, Santa Catalina Park
27 th - Junior Queen, Santa Catalina Park
MARCH
1 st - Grand Dame Gala , Santa Catalina Park
4 th - Drag Queen Gala ,Santa Catalina Park
5 th - Grand Parade ,La Isleta
7 th - Childrens Parade, La Isleta
8 th - The Sun Carnaval, Playa de Las Canteras
10 th - Carnaval of Integration, Santa Catalina Park
11 th - Sardine Wake, Santa Catalina Park
12 th - Sardine Funeral, playa de Las Canteras
All the events are accompanied by dancing, crazy costumes, music and fireworks, everyone is invited, it's a great way to make new friends.
